The mainline Jodhpur boot, like most boots, has an equestrian heritage. There remains some debate as to whether the Jodhpur boot as we know it was actually invented in the city of Jodhpur – we doubt it. Jodhpur pants however were invented in Jodhpur and it was this invention that led to the Jodhpur boot.

The main distinguishing feature of the Jodhpur boot is the strap and buckle. The strap wraps completely around the shaft of the boot.

Our mainline Jodhpur boots are produced from two separate pieces of leather – the vamp and the rear quarters, which are sewn together at the ankle. The Jodhpur is a fashion staple and continues to grow in popularity.

Jodphur boots can be found in leather and suede of course but we are also seeing contrast designs using combinations of leather, suede and even flannel.

The range shown above is only a selection of what is possible with Civardi. All designs can be fully customised by you simply by choosing the “customise & order” option.

So, please have fun experimenting with each design until you have created your own unique mainline Jodhpur boots – our artisan craftsmen will bring your vision to life!
